Well in the Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland areas it is still rather difficult to get a Wii. I stopped in Best Buy today and they WILL have them on Sunday... I think they are even listed in their ad. I have gone to the game stop, eb games, etc and all give the same answer... no Wii. All the people I spoke to say that the Wii will not be available for a "walk-in" and just find it on the shelf until the end of next month. Just the experiences I have had thus far... I am not sure if it helps any!
Good luck on your search... it is worth it.

Here in the St.Louis area they are still scarce. It had snowed here last night and this morning on my way to the job I seen 4 people waiting at Best Buy and at least 10-12 waiting at Target.
The game stays the same it's only the players that change.

Wal-Mart stores in St. Louis got a bunch last night. A co-worker just told me...I wish he'd told me sooner, so I could have posted before they disappeared.
I will ask my source at the Toys R Us warehouse in town to try to keep you guys and gals ahead of the crowd.
Good luck to those who must continue to suffer!

As far as finding a Wii, it's all about timing, being in the right place at the right time. I found mine by calling to every freakin electronics store within a 30 mile radius from my home on a Thursday. Finally I found a Walmart out in the middle of nowhere that had 15 in stock. By the time we got there they had already sold 5 of them. So once they show up, they sell out super fast.
But for me it helped calling stores that were more out in the middle of nowhere because they seemed to get more or carry more in stock because less people check them I guess. Then when I went to try to find another Wii controller, the only place that had them was the same Walmart the following week. But whatever you do, don't buy one from eBay and pay some jacked up prices. :)

I tried for 2 weeks straight to get a Wii at my local Ebgames and walmart. The guy at EB told me what time UPS comes in with shipments, so I tried to get there a few min before that time. The ONE day I sleep in (i work nights), my wife goes up there and grabs one. 2 days later I went into Walmart and snagged 2 controllers and a numchuck controller that were hidden behind some 360 accessories..
