I wanted to use the software control features of the chameleon to turn the chip on and off. Is it possible? I tried it by creating the boot disc with evox.ini modified using the lines provided in the manual. When I boot up the xbox using this evox boot disc, I can get to the mode 1 of the chameleon mod under the "system uil". My question is, if you have mode 1 enables with the dip switch, are you only able to see mode 1 on the menu? I have added the lines in the evox.ini for all the other modes but they do not show. Also, when you turn off the mod chip using the options in "cham. mode 1," Is it supposed to turn the mod chip off for just 1 single boot? On mine, when i selected to turn off the chip, it rebooted automatically to orginal xboxdash. However, when I turn it off and turn it back on, it used bios on bank 0 to boot. Is this the behavior i am supposed to see? Also, can you play LIVE using this software control mod chip disable feature??? Thanks for reading.
