Hi, my son has a football training DVD and I would like to cut one or two clips from it to put on my phone. I want to do this so that I can take my phone to training and set up some of the drills for the kids.

Can I do this?

If so, what software should I use?

Cheers

more likely your problem would be if your phone can take the video clip at all! You would first have to copy the clip from the DVD that you want... then convert it to a format that your phone can handle ..... then import that file to your phone! Some phones are easier than others to do this..... other phones are a pain. I would research the phone and then see what it needs to have to do this. good luck.

I know my phone can handle it, It's a Sony Ericsson W810i.

What software would I use to edit the video though?

Cheers

ok..... I have this:
http://shop.avanquest.com/usa/prod.php?pid=2002
it's ringtone media studio..... you can save your videos that you want your phone to have and it will upload it to the phone you have! just pick out what phone you have it will do the rest.... read about it! good luck.

I have no problem getting the video onto my phone.

What I want to know is what software I can use to edit the original video, pick out the bits I want and put them onto my phone.

Cheers

hi i'm not sure if this will help but download magic dvd ripper at www.magicdvdripper.com and after you have installed it insert your dvd click on a tab at the top of magic dvd ripper that says back up and you can remove some stuff.i'm not sure if you can just rip a few clips but try it and see if it works.
