Alright let me start off by saying no this isn't a syncing issue. Also I am using SMC 2 so I don't have those profile files to edit.

I have a few AVI files that I put on my player. The audio has a bit-rate of 128kbps and is mp3 format before conversion. The video and audio are crystal clear before conversion. After I run them through the Samsung Media Converter the sound plays like its amplified or something. I have to turn the sound to almost 0 to keep the loud "shushing" noises from making my ears bleed. At first I thought it was the player itself, but even when I view the converted files on my computer its the same way.

Anyone know how to fix this or is this just a symptom of crappy software?
