I know GT4 is getting a bit dated,but is still a great game...My fav car to start a new game [using saved GT3game] is a new Audi A3,it can breeze Thu Sun cup,4WD challange,A3 cup,Euro hot hatch,&Schwartzwaid Capri rally all with min upgrades & Orig tyres& sup in most of these.What are your choices?

By Gt3 save do you eman when you start Gt4 you tranfer 100.000cr
In Gt4 a good car to start off with it the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommimakinnen ed '00' its about 10.000cr with the rest of the money tune it to the max oyu will get a lot of races won with this car and some of the races you will get better cars tyhen that car thats alright keep racing with it until you have 100.000cr again and have a Good car usually one of those not hard out racing cars but a startring racing cars once you do do it up progress futher into teh game until you have at this time even with the evo you can eneter the Laguna Seca enduro the evo can beat the musscle cars there you go you have 250.000cr do the race again another 250.000cr now go and buy the Redbull Audi A4 touring car once you have it go and eneter the European Tourenwagen Masterschaft or sumtin win it once you win it you will recive IO think 100.000cr and the "99" LeMans Mercedes Benz AMG car big one,It will sell for somewhere along 500.000-700.000cr before you sell it tune it for speed in setting and eneter teh Super Speedway enduro once you do it will be though but if you have skill you will win the car has good speed if you win you get I think 300.000cr you have the 300.00cr and a car that sells for alot after you win once you win take teh A4 tune it upgrade turbo stage 4 and eneter the Nurmburg 24h race as the other cars are touring cars your car will have their pace drive abit to get a lead det it to B-spec and let your driver rip afetr you win you get like 4.000.000.000cr and an F1 CAR!!! now you should have 5.500.000.000cr altoghter go buy the Audi R8 and upgarde turbo with this complete all teh 24h enduros (The Delasrthe I &II) and any other enudros you want now you will have a huge pile of cash 20.000.000.000+cr if you complete all the enduros Now take the F1 and do teh f1 championship very LONG and HARD but if you manage you will get a Huge cash award and a Sauber C9 whihc isnt really usefull since you have the R8 and the sauber is only good for enduros if you sell it you get about 1.000.000.000cr now you should have neough money to buy and slowly do the small races and rallys as you go you will lose money but gain some from each of teh races

Yes I start with 110,000 & I am about to start a new game[my 4th one]
This time I am going to start with a new Toyota Yaris or the Lupi. I like to make it harder each time as my driving improves ,like harder tyres,no weight reduction ect & yes I too like the 2000 TME EVO but I am sure it's about 18,000 on my PAL version of GT4: I like the Evo for Rallies mainly, I also like the 95 red/silver WRX when it comes up it has 271bhp & works well for me.. Thanks for your money making tips but if I want quick bucks I use the Evo or Suby with R3 tyres in the Tsukuba wet race [medium] 3 laps 10,000 + 95,000 prize car

Yeah my first car in GT3 was also the MX-5. And when you get GT4 you can use your GT3 save to gain an up to 100,000 credits extra.

I am pretty sure you can only have one save per Mem card. I have 2 Mem cards,one with 8ml credits & 90% complete [Can't be bothered diong 24hr races]& has all special black cars,most of the 10km special cars & any cars I want to use in my working game as you can trade cars between cards & new cars are about 10% cheaper this way.
Has anyone tried the 01 Mitsu CZ-3 Tarmac prize car from Spec Cond Swiss Alps[easy]in the World Compact Car race yet? I took it straight into the race with no oil change & 230bhp & knocked all the aids down to 0.0.0 & it was heaps of fun the way it slides around & still be able to control it. Even if it was too good it was still a fun drive. I can recommend it..
I will try again on road tires to see if evens up the opposition.
Have since tried road Tires & it slides a bit more but still way too good.
