It seems as if my internet connection is good i can check the weather but when I got to teh Wii shop it stays on teh loading window forever!!! How long is it soposed to take for Wii shop to load.

this problem is common with the last firmware update that came through you have to set your wireless router to channel 9 10 or 11 any higher numbers work channel 6 doesn't work with spit and neather does channel 4

Has anyone downloaded games from Wii yet? I got a Wii Points card for Christmas and am waiting for some other games to come available before I use it.

The question I have is, 'How does it work...you connect to the internet and it downloads onto the SD memory or what?'

It just seems like downloading the game isn't as good as buying the game at the store. I like having a disc and a case, I suppose. Downloading seems like a less reliable way to store a game.

u download it from the shop channel and it is stored in the wii itself, sd cards arent necessary unless your wii has no more space.

Unless you want to listen to Mp3's play videos and view and muck up with pics.
You select what console in Wii shop (This is for australia) then uit has a list of all the games avalible for that console then it downloads (Takes a few min depending on interenet soeed I have only 1.5mbps DSL)and onec you donwload it it vbecomes a Wii channel select the channel with the VC game you now read through the instrucions then play it.
so far to me the games are meh.. I only like N64 games I only have 1 VC game so far SM 64 I was never really a fan of the Snes even though I had one and I nebver had a Nes I only liked the N64,NGC,GBC,GBA
