Problem Burning Quicktime Mov files to DVD+R using Nero

Hi,
I have been trying to burn a bunch of quicktime video files (.mov files) shot on my Panasonic digital camera to a DVD+R using the "make new movie" feature in Nero. It recognizes and plays all the files. I can go through the process of selecting all the files and finally to the page that says "start burn process". But when it starts the burn process, it says "transcoding video files" and immediately gives an error message and stops burning. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?! Thankx- gus

Do you know what version your .mov files are?

I have Nero ultra 6.6.0.18 and i used vision express 3 to make a video of a bunch mov files that were taken with a digtal camera not a cam corder. It worked fine.

I am using Nero Vision Express 2. I dont know what the exact format of my mov files (I have Quicktime 6 on my computer). A camera review place says that my Panasonic digital camera captures the video as MJPEG files. Nero can play the files fine. The error shows up only when burning.

What Nero version do you have? You should update to package 1 =6.6.0.18 and update 2 digital package 3.1.0.21
That will give you vision express 3 that works for me.
you can get all these updates from filehippo.com
If you do some searching in the Nero forms try and find some threads about Nero 6 and look for some links directly to the updates or go to the site and search.

I was able to export all my video files as a single MPEG-2 movie and then I burned it to a DVD+R using Nero Vision. The video of the DVD was absolutely fine but the audio is missing from at lots of places. Do you have any idea why something like this might happen?!?! Thankx for all the help guys. I am going to update the Nero package tonight.
