Like many others, I have been struggling with playing FFVIII on my psp. I am running 3.03OE-A firmware and have tried everything from reconverting the images to playing with the config settings in the menu.....nothing worked....my friend suggested that I catch up on my pc/ps2 and than just transfer the save file over.....is there anyway t convert the psp save file into a ps1 format? Being able to transfer would be kind of cool. That way it'd be possible to play the game on the tv at home and than just continue from the same place on the road for example. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you jus wanna play the game on a bigger screen you could buy a psp to tv adaptor

not the only problem......the psp glitches with a few games (mainly FF)....i was also hoping to be able to continue my progress.....so lets say I kill an hour on FFVIII at home....but i gotta hit work.....so I just transfer the save file and continue my game on the bus/subway.....when I get back home...i transfer the file back and continue......and this would also help with getting past any glitches in any games.... if you have a problem...just save before glitch occures.....get past it on ps1/2 and transfer back.....

i did a quick search on google and it seems that people are doing this using emulators and devhook, which i kno nuffin about, search through the pages on google and try and find answers. but i know that using devhook and switchin between firmware can brick the psp, and NOBODY (literally) is gonna take responsability if you brick your psp.
