well i decided to try a experament with one of my four wii remote straps to see how much strength it takes to break a strap and yes i mean break

i found out that it it takes 50 pounds of force wo break the wii remote strap i also found out it takes 55 pounds to pull the white nylon rope through the strap

nintendo did a great job fixing straps
