Problem DVD-RW Discs

I have a variety of DVD-RW discs which are problematic.

The problem is usually either:

1. My laptop does not find them when they are in the drive

2. The will not reformat. I use Nero to do this.

Any ideas what I can try with these discs to make the usable.

your problem might be your drive since it is not recognizing your disks. what is the make and model of your drive? search your drive here:

just put in your model # and read what your drive capabilities are and what other owners say about your drive!
