can anyone tell me what homebrew is please because on my psp im at version 2.81 and people are sayin that it is better to be at e.g. version1.50 because it has better homebrew. what exactly is homebrew plz tell me

well guys we're all here to help. Homebrew is basically games that other people like me and you can make. They're just games or applications that we can enjoy on the psp. Except you have to be on firmware 1.50.Seeing that you are on 2.81 it would be best to downgrade to 1.50, i forgot if they had a downgrader or not for that firmware.

EDIT: you can also update to 3.03 then downgrade to 1.50 using noobz new downgrader.

ok, homebrew is exactly what it says "home" "brew" meanin made at home :p no, really, it means software made by people that run in a system but without being an official release, sort of making a windows game realising it to ebreybody without being a ms official realeaser, so made it simple software made to run in an embyroment without being part of the team ment to make software to that embyroment, meaning me making a soft that runs in psp without having anything to be with psp team
