I have an m3 lite, whenever I try to play a game with my little bro via download play, his ds will download and the game will start, it'll run fine for a few minutes, then give me a communication error message.... What's up? How do I fix it?

So your actually in game when it freezes? Normally you wouldn't get past the Nintendo screen.
What game are you trying to play?
How far apart are you and your brother when you play?

i played some games of meteos (vs mode) with my friend. the rom was trimmed, his ds was not "hacked" at all, and it worked anyway... the only difference is that i used the m3 ds simply.

I read in the M3 Simply Guide that if the rom is trimed, the DS Download play won't work

There does appear to be the odd exception to that rule, but most of the time trimming will stop download play working.

Hi all,
I also can not do down load play? I just got my M3 and before I had a card slot2 reader and it worked. My ds is flashed, my son's is not. I put the M3 in his and download play to mine, no luck. The roms are not trimmed, I have tried Mario Kart and New super Mario Brothers. They worked before with the old slot2 reader. I have the 1.02 firmware.
Can some one help.
