Hi guys....Well I just upgraded to 3.03:OE-C some time ago, and thought I should give this nethostfs a shot...

I googled, and found the following page:

http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=10422

I followed the PDF tutorial there exactly...and I still on get nethost to start in irshell...when I press the nethost button in irshell, it just takes to split second, and then tells me "can't connect to Network host"...i dont understand what is the problem...

By the way, this is the apparatus I am using for this experiment:

-3.03:OE-C PSP
-Laptop with Wifi card in it, turned on (at least it says so :P )

Also, I tried both the 1.50 and 3.03 kernel...no difference in the result...

please help...

Also, I think the problem is somewhere within the PSP part of the setup...I am saying this because during the split second after I click on nethost, only the Memory stick read/write light blinks, the Wifi light doesnt blink....

Can someone please help me out ?

also, has anyone been able to work nethostfs on 3.03:OE-C ??

I have triple checked eveything ...nothing seems to be out of place ....

the only thing I can think of, which might be out place, is the folder on the MS where I put iRShel' 3.1's EBOOTs...

In its readme, its very specific on which folder you should put irShell in, GAME, GAME150, GAME271, etc, based on which kernel mode you are using....I might have messed up here, although irshell is itself running...

I am using 3.03:OE-C ...

OK, I got the PSP side running I think...I was using the 1.5 mode irshell EBOOT before..i had to use the 2.71 mode EBOOT....

now when i toggle nethost, the wifi green light blinks for a bit, and then i get the 'cannot connect to network host' message again...

i see no activity on the PC part...

The wireless card I have is the intel wireless 80.2.11b/g card i think..

ok wel lim having trouble with IrShell too. But i CAN connect to Nethost, but NOT usb host lol. But here is what i did strating from scratch just so you know you did everything correct.
1. Copy IRSHELL folder to Memory stick so looks like X:\IRSHELL
2. Copy irshell150 and irshell150% to folder GAME150 (if ur in 3.03 kernel)
3.launch IrShell from PSP XMB
4. choose skin (you can skip this part if you want lol)
5. Install Nethost here is link http://rapidshare.com/files/14969599/nethostfs_PC_Win_1_1_.6.zip
6. go to IrShell and go to Configuration
7.on your PC go to start>run>type in command
8. then in the dos command TYPE ipconfig press enter
you will see your computers IP ADDRESS remeber that now go back to your psp screll down until you see NETHOST IP/NAME (AP) click on it and type in that Ip you got from your computer.
9. after you type that in there scroll down to the very bottom and you will see SAVE changes & return to Ir SHell do that.
10. on your COmputer run the Nethost application it should show up in a black screen saying listening for incoming connections.
11. On your PSP while in IrShell go to where it says nethost click on it. Give it couplke secs and voila you should see on your computer where it says LISTENING FOR INCOMING CONNECTIONS it will say ADDING MULTI SESSION FOR IP and it will say ur PSP's Ip address what ever that may be. now you are connected to your PC via wifi
Hope this helps, i am not an expert on IrShell there is still alot i do not knowhow to do. Would some1 that is running IrShell 3.01 on custom firmware 3.03 OE-C please contact me if you know how to use it very well thanks.
