has anyone bricked their psp in recovery mode? if so did u get it unbricked or were u just screwed?

If you bricked ur psp during recovery mode you wont have a recovery mode left to run. I have bricked my psp on purpose just to test the recovery option however and it worked just fine. FYI i flashed bad gameboot, bad font....thins of that sort.

i bricked my psp when doing the recovery. i recovered to 1.5 and restarted my psp manually when it told me to. when i restarted it just showed a black screen. the green light is on and the memory card light it on but the XMB will not show up.

ok if u got to the part when it tells u to restart ur psp manually then u didnt brick it during recovery. the recovery finished 100 percent in fact. something happened after the recovery or u used the wrong update eboots.

i used the update eboot that came in the file i downloaded. the update.pbp file was 13.2mb which is the same size as the other 1.5pbp i have. anyone know what could have happened?

Well you didnt do something right. You might not have the right PRX files, incorrect eboot. Theres a number of things. Thats why I always use the 3.02 OE-A basic installer and I use that to install the recovery option. Then u know its installed correctly and its the right files.

Creating the same thread does get you help faster. in fact it does the opposite.
