Here's the short, but concise guide to what you can do (some really basic functions) with your PSP 3.03 OE-C:
1. Play ripped ISO PSP games. Also supports DAX and CSO compressed ISO's. You DO NOT need FastLoader or Devhook or anything extra. Simply put the ISO files into a folder called ISO at the root of your memory stick. On your PSP, browse to Game, then Memory Stick and you should see them there.
2. Play SNES/NES/Genesis/GBA/Atari/MegaDrive via emulators. On your memory stick you'll see a folder called PSP and within it a several GAME folders, one of which is labeled GAME150. By default, your PSP with 3.03 OE-C will be running the 3.03 firmware so you'll need to put your homebrew applications in the GAME150 folder. Download your favorite emulator and follow the instructions. The folder for the entire application goes into the GAME150 folder. There's usually a ROMS folder inside these emulator application folder for you to put your ROMS into. Then browse to the emulator as in #1 and you're off.
3. Rip UMD games to your computer as an ISO file. Download Booster's USB Special System Storage 1.00 (http://www.hackmypsp.com/plugins/p2_news/printarticle.php?p2_articleid=442). Place the application inside your GAME150 folder. Insert a UMD game into your PSP. Plug your USB cable into your PSP and make sure it's connected to the computer. Run USBSSS like any other homebrew. Select option #1 from the main menu. Immediately a new drive should be available on your computer with the UMD game appearing as a single ISO file on that new drive. Drag and drop it to your computer hard drive. It'll take a few minutes depending on the size of the game, but after that, you can quit USBSSS or copy another UMD game. Congratulations! You've just ripped your first UMD game as easy as pie. To play this ISO, follow the instructions in #1.
By now you've probably figure out that everything (homebrew apps) goes into the GAME150 folder and your ISO/CSO/DAX goes into the ISO folder. Google, read, and learn more. I figured this out in 1 day after I got my PSP, downgraded it to 1.50 then upgraded it to 3.03 OE-C. I realize that there are not a lot of information out there for new folks, and I hope this is clear enough to get you started. GOOD LUCK!
