I recently had a computer OS meltdown and had to reinstall my Windows XP SP2 (Clean Install) I reloaded the exact versions of Nero Ultra 7, ConvertXtoDVD and DVDShrink & OS that I used before. Prior to the meltdown,I could get 2-3 converted DivX movies to fit on a single 4.3 gig DVD, (perhaps with a little judicious authoring with DVDShrink-my record is 12 episodes of Veronica Mars with menus on one disk.) Since the re-install, converted files & shrink files, even those of 1.3 gigs in size are automatically taking up 3.8 - 4.2 gigs in Nero. Direct loads of a 600 meg KVCD bin file is also blown to 3.5 to 4.1 gigs, previously 1.2 gigs. All my startup parameters are the same as before. I no newbie, I've been burning for 2 years and I've never encountered this before. Any Suggestions?
