splitting movie onto 2 disks

I have downloaded a movie from the Ares site and it is too large to fit onto a standard 4.7 disk. Is there a way to split the movie into 2 so I can burn it onto 2 of the 4.7 disks? ( The double layer disks are SOOOOO expensive!!!!!) I am downloading with ares, coding and burning with Nero 6 OEM Suite(Start Smart), and have had great luck with this combination so far - except when the movie is over 1 hour, 30 minutes. Thanks for any advice!! Sonja.

you could run the riles through DVD Shrink as long as they are VOB files

I just updated my DVDFabDecrypter (V.3.0.7.2), and it has a function for this, havent tried it but thats what it is suposed to do. You can find that program on this website for free.
