hi there

i cannot for the life of me decide on which to buy either a plasma or a lcd ive seen some nice models but i dont have fortune to spend on them ive seen this one

hello,

they are both very good TV's and I have seen some good reviews for both of them however:

if you decide to get the Phillips, get it from Amazon, its £150 cheaper than comet.
here is the Phillips one

its the same with the samsung
here is the samsung

there are many others on amazon and cnet with reviews, I would advise you to read through a few of them aswell. Also try to get one that is Digital/HD ready, and also decide what ports you will need on your TV, e.g.Component, 2hdmi for consoles, tv,dvd etc.

Also, make sure the one you get has at least 1000:1 contrast ratio otherwise, a TV with a lower ratio of this may not be as viewable depending on light conditions
e.g.sunlight hitting tv and yout room, also room lighting. etc

anyway hope this helps and is just my opinion :)
