hye! i'm using devhook 0.46, and when i try to add rss channels through google video, for example, it denies access and tells me that something has failed to communicate with the server.. i dont really know.. anyone knows how to fix this? plz help..

You need to extract the firmware for the 2.8 update. Devhook 0.5 doesn't come with all the files you need bundled. Either way, you might as well upgrade to the custom firmware because it supports everything without the need to run devhook at all.

i get what you're saying.. but if i update to a newer FW won't that mean that i won't be able to run iso's??

Key word: Custom Firmware: Gives you the latest from sony, with the ability to run ISOs and homebrew. Deedeedee

LOL sorry :) anyways, i've decided to go for the emu' option, and i followed the guide you gave me, but the fw 3.01 update eboot file i corrupted through the link that is provided there.. can you give me a good one?
