ok so we have tried telling if the game is patched by not seeing the UMD becuase most stores wont let you, so my idea is if owners of the unpatched and patched versions get together and compare their user manuels since most used game stores and rental stores have display case with book inside. i havent tried this yet but its just an idea.

Either stick the game in an check the update file or check the SLES number. I'm pretty sure if it has #1 or #2 at the end it is the patched version. This info is easily found on google.

Unpatched Euro version is ULES00151, patched is ULES00151#2

For other regions just look on google you'll get a million hits
