Hello:

I apologize if this is not the correct forum for this location but here is my question:

I have a Tivo device that allows me to transfer what the Tivo has recorded to the computer. Once that is complete I have been using the "Direct Show Dump Utility" to convert the Tivo files on the computer to MPG files. I then have been using Xilisoft iPod conversion to convert the files to MP4 for viewing on the ipod video. My problem is that the converted files do not import into the itunes Library and therefore do not download to the iPod.

I'm looking for some guidance here. We will be leaving on a long flight and I need to transfer some of those tivo recordings to the iPod.
