I have an AVI file
360*240 (4:3), DIV3 = DivX v3

which i would like to change to
320*240 (4:3), DIV3 = DivX v3

so I can join to 4 other files.

Is this easy to do?

No easy way. You have to re-encode. For DivX3 encoding I would actually suggest FFDShow.
