Dvd2Svcd/Cinemacraft error?

When I'm trying to convert anything using cinemacraft as the encoder I get an error that the ecl list cannot be saved. Now I have used dvd2svcd with cinemacraft numerous times with no problems but for some reason now all I get is the same error. I have tried recovery with the same result. If I use tmpg it will work but if you got cce why use tmpg. Has anyone ever had this problem? I was thinking that I may have installed a bad codec but the error would seem that I have a bad setting somewhere. Anyhow if anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it.
