ive watched a video on youtube on how to use popstaion. ive read 400 different popstation readme's. Ive been through 4 different gui popstation programs. Ive just shoved my psx.iso's in every folder on the memory card. I've put my eboot and bin in every folder on the psp. it displays the info (my custom pics) and loads. one had a warning, others said sony or something. in the end, all have ended up with a black screen. i reset, the black screen is still there. I force reset (ie remove the battery) and it says the fun little "sony entertainment yoohoo" and loads the umd, because im an idiot and forget that i can turn autoload umd off. What am I doing wrong? The last gui i used said i need at least fw 3.02 OE-b. im higher than that, so i should be fine! NO. very wrong. is there a gui specifically for 3.03 OE-C? I wont flash my mother...board ever again. it was nerve wracking. please help me. my ISO rips are fine cuz they load with epsxe on my pc. I've been trying cowboy bebop.iso, thousandarms.iso, and FFVIII.iso. help!

So? You watched a video on youtube? Was that the only description you got? Didn't read the readme files, I guess? And sure as hell didn't use the forum search engine.
Anyway, use this one. It's self-explaining and puts the files in the right folder after converting.

wow. couldnt resist flaming me first, huh? heres the read me:
Changes in this version of popstation:

- The writing is now a bit different. This avoid "Memory stick blinking too much" bug when using
the plugin to load the 3.02 pops.

- popstation now lets the use of non-encrypted DATA.PSP. If data.psp is in the same directory as the app,
popstation will use that as the DATA.PSP of the eboot.pbp. Otherwise, it will use the one from BASE.PBP.
A DATA.PSP that imitates the original sony one is included.

EBOOT.PBP generated with a non encrypted data.psp won't need the file KEYS.BIN at all.

Note: these EBOOT.PBP cannot work in versions prior to 3.03 OE-C due to a bug that those versions had.
what does that tell you? I have NO IDEA what that means. Of course I've checked other forum posts. thats while I posted this NOW, not 2 days ago when I started trying.

I got the same problem here and I've tried EVERYTHING! Nothing seems to work and I've been trying for 3 weeks now! Anyways, some of the newer iso to pbp converters might help you mainly PSX2PSP and Icetea. If that doesn't help and you find the solution post it here pls and I'll do the same thx.

This WORKS! Go to http://www.hackmypsp.com/index.php?categ...&p13_fileid=718 its easy to use but you'll still need the keys.bin btw I'm using 303oe-c and it works fine and it's compressed!
