Help. I backed up my docs to a dvd using Nero 6. The DVD looks good and the files icons are proper. The problem is they won't open. Word docs show little squares as text, excel files won't open at all, jpgs won't open or show a preview and executables like DVD Shrink and image burn won't open at all. I need these files as my computer crashed and I have no other back ups. ?????????????????????-

Have you tried restoring them using the BackItUp utility?
