nero 7 not reconizing burner drive

been have trouble keep my nec1300 burner external listed in burn option window. when going through recode to burn all thats avaible is hard disc or image recorder . it was listed there and burned a few times but now gone again. i jump back and forth between shrink and recode then i notice it gone. its driving me nuts..

i have been reinstalling it. using clean tool and registy cleaner also.thanks

Does the burner disappear from Windows also, or just Nero. Maybe a USB driver might be at fault. Does rebooting with the drive installed restore it? Have you tried removing the USB connector and then reconnecting it?

the drive is listed in windows always. rebooting did not help.unistalling drivers did not help either.heres what it looks like.

my burner never recognizes any of the discs(id wise) i was using.during burn log always gave me .
