I have a few questions regarding the installation of modchips for the Wii. I'm planning on getting the Cyclowiz modchip, but am wondering what tools and materials I'd need in order to install the chip. This is my first time installing a modchip, so I'm a bit worried in case I mess something up along the way.

So first, I know I'm probably going to need a Triwing screwdriver to open the Wii. What about other materials? The Installation Guide at Teamcyclops.com mentioned the use of a soldering equipment (or wires) and an on/off switch. Are they required, and does anyone know where I could purchase them? Also, how would I do the soldering step/wiring step? The guide doesn't mention the steps for wiring the chip.

Thanks for any help.

The Cyclowiz is Wire Free. They call it "Quick Solder", and all you have to do, is solder on the points given, and that's it. You will need a Solder Iron, and some Rosin to Solder the chip into place. Other than that, I think you will be good.
