3.03/03 oe firmware doesnt require devhook any more, thats the beauty.
your iso/cso files should go somewhere like.
f:/ISO
create a folder on the root called iso and put them their, then to run them they will be in the memory stick option on the game option on the XMB (psp menu)
PSP LIFE 2.60 > 2.71 > 1.50 > 2.71se-c > 3.03oe-c > 3.90 m33

so, if I upgrade from 3.02B to 3.03C, all i have to do is create a folder named ISO
place that on the drive, like F:\ISO, and then just put whatever iso for the UMD in that folder, and I'm set?

Yup. All dark alex releases from 3.03 onwards just require you to put the ISO in the ISO folder, it can then be run from the XMB.
It really is the shiznit XD

To the two newbies: You got a game UMD in your drives, haven't you?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Yeah I had a UMD in the drive, but did find out that I had to disable the NO-UMD in the custom bios for it to work.. (I'm actually just upped to 3.10 OE) But then everything went smooth. I can load all my ISO's now, and everything is good, hope turning NO-UMD off in the recovery menu will help everyone else. (Hold R while cold booting for recovery menu)

Have you tried Initial-D, or StreetFighter Zero? These are going black screen on me.

Hey... I thought I'd ask under this topic because it's kinda related...
I have an actual UMD backup ("dump") of Vice City Stories, which is about 1.5GB. I compressed it to a CSO, and it came to about 900MB (still way too much, but anywhoo...). My problem is that gameplay is very jerky due to the PSP accessing the Memory Card. Is there something I can do or is it a common "fault" with memorycard-running games / especially streaming ones like this? I have a 4GB Sandisk Gaming card.

CSO files load slower due to compression, Try just the iso file.

Fully turn off your PSP (hold power button till its off, dont just flick) then turn it on again while holding R to enter recovery mode. Now go to configuration and the No-UMD option is in there.

Go back to recover menu and then go to advanced > advanced configuarition and turn on plain modules in iso/umd. Also, what memory stick are you using? Some don't work so well. I currently have a Lexar and that only ever works half the time.
