How do I convert a DivX & MPEG-4 file to an AVI or mpeg because the program I'm using(Cyberlink PowerProducer) won't recognize them in their current form?

Thanks Ripper but I think my problem is a lil different. I'm trying 2 burn these files to dvd & I know I can use Nero but I like the video editing on this other program better but it doesnt recognize mpeg-4's & DivX files so that's why I am trying to convert the files. I know on one of the older versions of Nero I used to have I could export a file & that would work but I dont see that on the newer version. :-(
