you need to download the eboot emulator files, and put them into your GAME folder on your mem card.
You can put the roms anywhere, considering the emulators will let you hunt for them on your memory card
To play GBA games, you need to obtain the GBA bios file in order to have the emulator run.

whatever kind of emulator you want to play
I have NES, SNES, and GBA running on mine...
if I wanted to have all three on the same memory card, i would need 3 folders in my GAME folder. In each one of those folders, you would need an eboot file that corresponds to the specific emulator
do a google search for PSP emulators. it should return everything you need

you need to make sure you are running kernal 1.50
basically, TOTALLY shut down your PSP
when powering on, hold the R button. Go into <Configure>
change kernal from 3.0x to 1.50
go to exit
your psp will restart
try again

what version of firmware are you running?
are you running kernal 1.50 like I explained?
what have you tried so far? Explain what you have done so far, and what exactly is the problem.

if you are running in kernal 1.5
and you have the emulator in the correct folder, it will show up on you memory card, and allow it to boot
with running kernal 3.03, they disable the memory card boot, which you need, so you do have to re-config to run 1.5
if you are still getting that error, your problem is getting it to switch to kernal 1.5

that has to do with the particular game, and the way it could conflict with the emulator
SNES is always a little sketchy, when compared NES, and a lot of GBA games
theres probably only a small handful of games that I play in SNES 9x because of that

i didn't think u have to be in 1.5 kernal. if u place the homebrew in the PSP->GAME150 folder, then it will work fine. thats what i do
