I promised that I would report once I FINALLY got my chip from Spain and installed it. Installation was a snap (if you have some soldering experience). It has played every single game that I burned using Nero and iso's. I used LG DVD-R's for buring. No probs.

Ok I see. lol thats how I get most things to.
I been reading and I guess the software to rip the games is picky as to which pc drives it works with. But as long as you have a compatible drive it looks easy.

Nero is good. You'll need that. The next thing you need to do is... search google for hmmm... can't really say. However,
I think Benicio Del TORo is a great actor. My brother's RENT is way too high for him and his wife.
but I prefer a different method.
Did you here the NEWS today? There are some crazy GROUPS blowing up our soldiers in Iraq!

KaFluke did you install the chip with the upgradeability option? Did you install it with the wire option or just directly to the board?

whats that? Upgrade option you say? I haven't heard of any upgrade option with the wiinja. I just installed it with the 5 wires to the board.

HAHA oh duh i was thinking the wiinja had the upgradeability option too, sorry... im still out on which chip i want to install. Esp with the news of the new WiiP open source chip. I already ordered a cyclowiz but i wont be getting it for a couple weeks so im sorta on the fence at the moment.

Im waiting for another few months up until december all that comes nnow will be easy for Nintendo To stop now we have to wait for teh companies to get around the problems thta will come with firmware,I was thinking of installing a Wiinja the video modding shop has it but to me if it screws up teh Wii I cant get anotehr one for atleast 3months I really cant spend any cash as I need it for stupid plane tickets to Germany etc.

why would it screw up the wii? The most that can happen is a software upgrade to disable it.

That wont do much Nintendo are goging to put updates on game discs around april thats how everyones wii will be able to transfer game saves via sd without the net which means if you buy a non updatebale chip to stop it from getting stopped from playign backups you have to;
Not play games made after april (Whats the point)
Not have the net conneceted.

Kafluke, Thanks for the Nero info. I see that I have a lot to learn.
As far as movies go, I don't understand why people think Benicio Del TORo is such a great actor. I rented Blow, and didn't care for him that much. I guess I will have to do more research on his acting abilites from his other movies and ask other people more questions about which ones to rent.
I never liked foreign films until I saw "Life is Beautiful" with Roberto Benigni. That has to be one of the best movies, but I wonder why the boy didn't figure it out that they were really in a prison camp. Anyway, I think Roberto Benigni is a better actor than Benicio.
