I make my own movies, and when it comes to label them i cannot find a sharpie, so i believe that lightscribe is good for me.

You can't find a sharpie? I find that hard to believe.
Anyway, you can find quality lightscribe drives on sale. Just wait for the right drive to go on sale and you'll have a great deal.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

So what did you get? Inquiring minds wanna know.
NewEgg is great, but I live in CA so I have to pay taxes + S&H. They're the next city over so I receive my orders almost next day (the few times I have ordered from them).

Yeah I used to buy everything from Newegg, but I moved to TN and they have a warehouse here so now I have to pay taxes!! :-( I still buy smaller purchaces from them though, but when I spend a couple hundred $$ I look somewhere else, but you aren't going to beat Neweggs service and support anywhere.
So tell us what model Writer did you end up going with?

It still boggles my mind that someone can't buy a Sharpie, but is able to get LightScribe discs . . .
