Small problem with Pioneer DVR-104 and Primo DVD.

Hi, I'm having a small problem with Primo DVD and my pioneer drive. Primo DVD won't let me burn anything because it says my drive isn't ready. Well actually, it never gives me any error messages, but underneath my drive it says "not ready" in greyed out letters. It also says this in the "Disc Explorer and Drive Properties" tab.

I've been searching all over trying to locate any information on the problem, but I haven't found anything helpful. If anyone else has had this same problem, or knows how to go about fixing it, I'd be very much appreciative. Thank you.

I had a similar problem with RecordNowDX and my A104 on a Sony Vaio. Turned out that installing Nero causes problems with ATAPI in that configuration. I tried to fix it using Adaptec's ATAPI checking software (free from their website), but didn't succeed. I ended up using the rebuild disks from Sony (very good), and had no problems since. Maybe your ATAPI has got corrupted somehow?
