When I have a dvd in hand and I use DVD Shrink, then burn with DVD Decrypter, everything is fine and the burned media will play on my dvd player. BUT, I have an AVI movie file that I have converted to dvd format using avi2dvd. I have tried with several different AVI movies (all with subtitles) and nothing will play on my dvd player. The iso file that avi2dvd creates does not have subtitles even though I've followed the instructions correctly...so what I did was use folder2iso to create an iso file from the video_ts folder then used DVD Decrypter to burn the new iso file. When I popped the newly burned media into my computer it worked perfectly AND had subtitles, but when I put it into my dvd players it would not read. It's not a matter of incompatibility between the players and the media because I've copied movies directly from the dvd and all has been fine. I'm really at my wits end and can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Please help!
