download them and read directions that come with them on the site u get them or in the "readme" inside the folder of the game you downloaded ;)

Go to: pspupdates.qj.net
Search for: Dark_alex downgrader for ta-082 psp

Use his downgrader to make your psp fw 1.5. Where you go from here is up to you. I have a PSP ta-082 with FW 2.71. I used the Dark Alex's downgrader to make it 1.5. Then I upgraded to 3.02 OE-B, then 3.03 OE-A, and I am currently running 3.10 OE-A'.

Note - any FW with OE after it is custom firmware developed by homebrew developers. Use pspupdates.qj.net to find the custom firmware downloads and instructions.

Once you have a PSP running FW 1.5 you can up grade to any custom firm ware, 3.10 OE-A' is the latest release from dark_alex. It allows you to run all homebrew apps developed for FW 1.5 and you can play PS1 games.

You do not need to upgrade to 3.10 OE-A', but I recommend it because Sony's later FW have cooler features and is easier to use (plus PS1 games!).

i have a ta-082 mobo too but i'm emulating 3.01 using devhook through henD but my actual fw is 2.71. do you know anything that would make my psp permanent to 2.81 or higher firmware then at the same time playing isos on it? coz i have this psp camera and i couldn't use it on 2.71

Then to upgrade to Dark_Alex's 3.10 OE-A, this will allow you run all the features asssociated with Sony's latest fw while being able to run .iso/.cso files, as well as PS1 eboots. (3.10 OE-A' is the latest up to date custom firm ware)
