I heard that the part that they use for the Wiinja is just a regular chip that you can get at your local Radio Shack. Does anyone know by chance what one that is? And also, is there a way that we can program it ourselves, instead of buying the whole kit?

yes, you can buy the chip at radio shack but the hex code hasn't been released yet so you can't flash it yet.
