Hey, My cpu seems to be losing its edge. Can you please help me to get an overall cpy that is value for money and great fo gaming?

Another reason whay I need to upgrade my cpu is because i've just upgraded to the new OS Vista Ultimate and i've already bought a top-of-the-line value graphics card "SAPPHIRE RADEON X1300PRO 256MB DDR2 AGP" (capable of 512mb) and i've also beefed up my system with another 512MB stick of DDR RAM.

My current CPU specs are:[b/]

[b]Processor Type
Athlon XP
Front Side Bus Speed 333 MHz
Socket Type Socket A
Architecture 130 nanometers
Clock Speed 2.08 GHz
Performance Index 2800+
Processor Instruction Set 3DNOW! ? 3DNOW!+ ? Intel MMX ? SSE
L2 Cache Size 512 KB
L1 Cache Size 128 KB

My motherboard is an "ASRock K7VT4A+ Motherboard"

Thanks.

-Simmon

i don't think you'll get any better than an XP +3200, because it is a socket A motherboard, you might need to upgrade your motherboard

just get more ram because newer boards are using pci/e slots now unless you get a motherboard that has both agp & pci/e.
