Is it a form of RCE or CSS you are referring to?

It's just a thin film over the top of the dvd to prevent scratches. It doesn't hender your ability to play/rip the disc.

Its for security purpose... it just mean the disc is a blockbuster disc. So if you lose the disc they can charge you $50 for the disc, but you can go to Best Buy and buy it for $14.00 and replace it, but they say its not the same. Its just their way of keeping track of their disc. Blockbuster sucks anyways... sorry if I offended anyone.

Thanks for the info. Using a Liteon166s and a Sony 500ax. DVD Decrypter, 2-1, and Copy to DVD. Never any problems. Use Nero to copy "on the fly".

I believe it's the same process that DVDSONTAP are using on their DVDs. So if anyone else is using them, make sure you get a free certificate of posting from the Post Office, just in case one day, they happen "not to have received" the DVD you've sent back to them.
Btw, has anyone else notice that DVDSONTAP 'seem' to have a ...erm... 'longer turnover period' once the Free trial period has expired?

tune in, turn on, burn out
