Oh I am new at this so please bear with me. I download a AVI DivX video file from the net. Now I wish to edit it and make some changes, example: Cut off the tail end of the movie and remove some things from the center of the video. If I can find a converter to change the DivX to AVI or mpeg or whatever you recommend and then back to anything, example a DVD. Will I experience any loss of quality in doing all this converting? I would think not because it is all digital, right? I mean that is what digital is all about.
And can you recommend any software I can use to do this converting? Thank-You

ConvertXtoDVD will do your converting, and as far as editing you might try dvdrebuilder
