PMA update failure?

Hi guys,
I have no problem creating audio CDs but have never succesfuly burned a DVD! I get errors every time. I've tried various brands of media, I've used low 4x speed [as has been recommeded on the forums], I've updated the firmware for my LG GSA-4167B... and still no success.
I'm not very computer literate and I'm hoping someone has some advice. Thanks!

I DLed, installed, and just used 7.5.9.0 and I get the exact same errors. I'm going to throw my computer out the window!
