Wii OS is a Windows program that makes your computer run an Interface similar to the Nintendo Wii. You can use it with emulators and a Nintendo Wiimote to play your favorite game backups ad roms exactly the same way they will work on a regular Nintendo Wii.

Well; I call bull. But it's not as farfetched as some would think:
Truth: There are Gamecube emulators.
Truth: The Wii is much similar in operation to the Gamecube.
Truth: Gamecube Emulators are not notoriously fast yet.
Truth: A Wii emulator would demand much more than a Gamecube one, despite similar architecture and programming code.
Truth: A wiimote depends largely on a specific distance in order to work accurately.
Truth: Your computer monitor is too small to find a non-akward distance in which to use the remote as it was originally intended in most games.
Truth: Due to low resolution on your pc monitor, these games would look TERRIBLE
Truth: Your time and money would be better spent just BUYING a Wii, which includes the remote and nunchuck you would end up spending $60 on anyways, as well as the sensor bar you'll put $20-$30 on.
I've posted this same though elsewhere. But it stands true as it ever did.
Now, if they figure out the 360 or the PS3, those cost enough to justify.....

very true, very true. The Wii is essentially a suped up GameCube with Wireless capability. Even if you could play Wii games on the PC it would be strange with the controller. Do you have to use a Wii controller? How could it be possible to play games without one? That would require re-writing the game code unless someone wants to buy a Wii controller for their PC & program a box that emulates the motion-sensing.
handsom is right. Drop the $$ on a Wii & wait for the PS3/360 emulators instead ;)

Not trying to start an argument with this or anything, but i am calling false on this statement. My computer monitor is about the same size as my tv, if not a hair bigger, and it has RCA inputs, so I have actually used my monitor with a Wii :P (it is not uncommon to have a 19" monitor these days, which is plenty big enough to support a wii)

Funny how much it has changed since the gamecube till teh Wii in a matter of only 2000 days which sound long but trust me most people recall 2001 like yesterday since then consoles have come from playign games to having features from playing games to web browsing.
