mod chips and new update for vote channel

i don't know if this has been asked but i just got a messege from nintendo about the vote channel and that you need to update befor you download it will the cyclowiz work after the update.

if not it would be a perfect time for them to proof that updating feature.
i havent updated yet becuz i have a cyclowiz that should be in today or tomorrow and i dont want to screw up the chip befor it gets here
please tell me if i can update i would like to check out this channel

update it is ok I just comfirmation from another forum its ok.

I'm thinking of buying another Wii, one that I should install the mod chips on and stuff rather than use the one I go online with.

I can import one for £137 it would be a US console but at least I could hack it to bits and not fear lossing my origional stuff.

just wondering if the cyclowiz will have an update to support the D2B is it? (the chip set that don't work).

I'm assumeing all the new batches of Wii's will come with the new chip set.
