DvDs play back weird! PLZ HELP!

I have a 7900 GS and a Samsung 225bs. 22" I tried to watch some movies and when I try and play it back, the colours were all weird. The colouring effect was sort of like smudgy pastel. It was all blurry, the colouring, but the lines were sharp. I disabled the motherboards integrated graphics. STILL NO GO. PLZ HELP!
