I'm getting the following error when trying to burn movies downloaded from the internet:
"Sorry, your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type
or modify the setting of your compilation to make them compatible with the current disc."
I think you're right. The file I was trying to burn was AVI and I don't think it was converting it to a DVD file. I actually download DivXtoDVD, DVD Shrink 3.2 and DVD Decrypter and it worked. I think I'll just use that instead of Nero.
AVI files can easily be burned using Nero Vision, NO conversion is required. Heres a basic guide on how I burn my AVI files, using Nero 7, works the same for Nero 6. There is a more comprehensive guide in my sig, made by alkohol
