as long as i have a DL dvd drive and all the relative software plus correct disks im ok to start backing up my games yeah(i allready have the xtreme software on the box).

just want to clear it up as im under the illusion of needing to have the pioneer 111d drive as its mentioned alot in posts.iv got a fairly decent sony DL dvd drive . just dont want to waste my time getting everything if my drive wont do the job.

I suppse you are talking about Xbox 360?
in order to make a back up you need to have a specific Samsung DVD-Rom drive in your PC that is flashed with Kreon firmware. Then you get a program like Xbox Backup Creator and it is very easy.

PSD these DVD-Rom drives can be found on Ebay, it is the only place i have seen them since they are no longer made. Get them while you can.
