Laptop to HDTV using component?

Hey everybody...I have a LG HDTV that has HDMI, component, s-video, and composite inputs. I want to connect my apple laptop to the TV. However, my laptop is an older model and only has vga. I was wondering what would be the best way to connect my computer to the tv (without spending a lot of money). I saw a vga to component cable on monoprice, but I don't know if it will work with my computer.

Any help would be amazing!
