I'm plannin to buy a 100 pack of +16x Verbs from Newegg, I looked at the picture and it had Advanced Azo on the cover. I've heard these are good right, anything on Verbs that has Advanced Azo or Azo on it is guaranteed to be MCC right? I'm using Verbs now, but they're in 50 packs, they don't have Advanced Azo written on the cover but instead have like a picture company called 'Winkflash' offer on it. Thanks btw.

How I make extra money:(for games/clothes/cable etc)

They may have an older cover on that listing-old stock. Either way, you're getting Advanced Metal AZO dye on those verbatims, just like Taiyo Yuden uses. Top quality stuff.

Verbatim had a lot of issues with the names of their media. There was:

Data life
Data Life plus
Media life
Digital Movie quality-silver/black,with a pic of a film spool

This confused a lot of people. All used the same dye. Now they just label them Verbatim, along with a symbol saying Advanced AZO dye. The digital movie quality discs are still out there.

I'm not sure about the winkflash. You got the exact link to that ad?

So I'm getting TY's? Sweet. Either way I'd still settle for MCC, doesn't matter to me, both Top 2.

Yea I still see some of those movie discs out there, they're at some stores and on Newegg too.

And nah I don't have a link to that ad, I bought them online from someone who buys them in bulk, I bought 100, which came in 2 50 packs, they basically have a purple cover and an ad on the cover about a picture company called Winkflash, free 100 photos online, that's the ad/offer. They're made in Taiwan so they're MCC(and I checked on DVD Decrypter), and they say copyright Verbatim Corporation 2006 if it matters. I bought them for $33 shipped.

Damn now I can't wait to get these Verbs I ordered from Newegg...TY like quality that's hot, even better is newegg has a warehouse in NJ and I'm in NYC so that's like my neigborhood right there, last time I ordered something was a Lite-On DVD burner and it came from that warehouse in 1 day/the next day, I love their shipping and the fact that their warehouse is really close to me.

How I make extra money:(for games/clothes/cable etc)

Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden use Advanced Metal AZO dye. They're still 2 different brands, using the same dye.

Taiyo Yuden did make some verbatim media, but they'll code as Ty-G02/Yuden000 or close to those 2 codes. Not very many, but they made a few and the spindles will say made in japan.

Although TY and the manufacturers of Verbatim media use azo-cyanine dye, it is not the same dye. MCC makes its own formulation.
