Running an AVI clip backwards

Just for effect, I'd like to run an AVI clip backwards. I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector to put this package together. Although they have many effects to do various kool things, I don't see one to run a clip backwards.

Does anyone have a suggestion how I can do this?

Thank you for the tip using the AVISynth: reverse (). But, I'm needing the AVI file to retain the AVI extension because I still need to use the PowerDirector program.

Maybe I'm missing a step, but the AVSedit program will save the syntex as you suggested, but will only save it with the avs file extension.

Yes, it will be *.avs, but it should still load in PowerDirector. If not you can try ffdshow/makeavis to frameserve as an AVI.
