Ok,
1) No, you can only upgrade to 3.02 OE-A if you're on 1.50 ONLY. 3.02 OE-A is a costom firware by Dark_AleX which you can get from http://psp-hacks.com.
2) you just extract the iso with WinRAR
3) yes, any GAME UMD, not movies or anything else.
4) yes or you can upgrade to 3.02 OE-A or 3.03 OE-A or the latest, 3.10 OE-A (which is what I have).

WOW! It's very weird that you get your PSP in 3.02 OE-A! Anyways, you don't need any loader. Just do that:
1) In the root of your memory stick, create a folder in CAPITAL letters called "ISO".
2) Put your ISO(s) there.
3) Disconnect the USB and in your PSP, go to "Game", and in memory stick icon, you will see your ISO. Just select it and here you go, ISOs on your PSP!
What is special abot 3.xx OE-A is that you don't need an emulator like Fastloader or Devhook!

In "Settings" in your PSP, go to "System Settings" and then in "System Information". You will first see your MAC Adress, then your System Software and last, your nickname. In System software, tell me EXACTLY what you see.

In my system software, it shows 3.02 OE-A.. Anyway i tink i figured out my problem.. I din directly extract the iso into the ISO folder.. but i extracted the whole rar folder into the ISO folder.. So i guess its my bad..
another question is, i dled this iso game.. it comes in many parts, when i unzipped everything, wat i see is a PSP_Game Folder. Inside there are 2 sub directories and a few files. I dun see the .cso file to put in. So how shud i go about putting in this whole game?

It doesn't have to be CSO! It could be ISO also, though!

.CSO is a type of file compression for .ISO files. I'm not sure if OE-A can play ISO's that are .cso compressed. Try converting it to .iso or .dax and then put it into your ISO folder on your PSP.
You can do this by loading up the cso with UMDGen and saving it as an iso or dax file, or you could download the iso compressor from www.psp-hacks.com in the downloads section.
Remember, apple in is not apple out...
It's poop.
