Final Fantasy 7 disk prob same in 8?

Is the disk 1 unable to get disk 2 problem same in final fantasy 8. Cause i saw a few post saeing that the disk 1 in final fantasy 7 cannot get to disk 2 in psp. Is it the same as ff8.

same problem with me. Turns out you need to use popstation to change the saved files and eboot.pbp files to the same name and code. So when you "disc swap" the disc you're using to replace will recognize your previous save file. This happens for all multi disc games.

EDIT: so if ff8 is a multi disc game then it is very likely you'll have the same problem unless you use popstation before you play.

i play FF7 using 1gb card. what i do is when it end of disc 1. It will tell you to save game after that it will ask to load disc 2.

What i do is to remove the memory card n connect it to the pc with a mem card reader and copy the disc 2 in it and then slot it back to the psp and hit ok or select button. it load to disc 2 of the game.

I believe if u have 4gb what u can do is create 3 folder maybe label as FF7D1 to D3 then when it tell u go disc 2 just save the game and the exit n load disc2 of the game.

well i dont have a 4gb card till another few more days so i presume it should work this way unless it can directly load to disc2 if i have a 4gb.

Anyway im playing disc 3 already.
